HomeStart is a project created for the 2024 Design for San Diego (D4SD) Challenge and was showcased as one of the 8 finalists (out of 48 total submissions) at the World Design Policy Conference on November 12, 2024. Focusing on housing insecurity and homelessness, the platform helps recent college graduates in San Diego find affordable, community-oriented housing by offering personalized job and housing plans. It simplifies the search process while fostering a supportive community, aligning with D4SD's goal to address local challenges through innovative solutions.
